In August and September 2021 Mike was asked by Pantaleon Films and Warner Bros. to shoot the key art photography and gallery shoot for the german comedy movie »Die Geschichte der Menschheit (leicht gekürzt)«. After getting a detailed briefing from Hamburg film marketing company The White Rabbit and Warner Bros., Mike went off to Sofia (Bulgaria), Madeira (Portugal) and Cologne (Germany) to shoot the complete still photography and gallery shoots. This was a particular challenge because on a »normal« set you have a handful of actors in key roles. In this case they were dozens of well known german actors cast in the movie – even to the last supporting role. Additionally the team went off to many, many locations due to the nature of the script – which tries to tell the story of humanity of a few thousand years from cave men to WW2. In the end a mobile studio was erected next to each and every film location in order to capture the vast amount of actors in an efficient manner.
